Pubblichiamo il messaggio che Alan Fraser ci ha inviato a conclusione del suo workshop di Pianoforte e improvvisazione (metodo Feldenkrais), che ha tenuto nell'ambito dei Corsi estivi 2022 organizzati dalla Civica Scuola Musicale "R. Zandonai" di Rovereto. Una comunicazione che rivolge alla nostra Scuola, agli studenti che hanno frequentato la masterclass, ricordando il lavoro che ha svolto la docente Maria De Stefani che la ha coordinata.

Insieme con la masterclass gli allievi hanno potuto effettuare una visita guidata al Museo del Pianoforte Antico di Ala. Ecco di seguito la gentilissima comunicazione di Alan Fraser, didatta del pianoforte di prestigio internazionale e amico della Civica Scuola Musicale "R. Zandonai" di Rovereto:

I have just had the extreme pleasure and great good fortune to work with the pupils and students of the Ricardo Zadonai Music school in Rovereto for the past several days. What creative sessions we had! The students are all very gifted musicians, and most important, they are curious and open-minded, ready to learn. I presented many new ideas in terms of piano technique in the light of Feldenkrais Method, and the improvement in their playing was a wonder to behold. We had a great sense of camaraderie, and the workshop was organised in a really intriguing fashion. We discovered so much about the piano as well as the music that was written for it. This was all organized by prof Maria de Stefani, who for instance brought in Egidio Galvan, the school piano tuner, to uncover the secrets of the piano mechanism - this ingenious construction which so faithfully communicates the musical thoughts of the pianist to an audience. We also had an amazing experience listening to many old pianos being played by Temenushka Vesselinova, an absolute treasure of a pianist, who helped us understand so much better Mozart style, and Beethoven style, and Chopin style, by playing this music on the instruments for which it was originally composed... a true revelation! Thank you so much, Maria, for organising such a wonderful event, and thank you to all the students who were so attentive and who played so beautifully.
